It’s Good But Keep Expectations Low – First off – this isn’t an air conditioner, it’s a swamp cooler – that is spun air going over iced water. So it does throw off a cooler burst of air than a dry fan. It’s small but operates admirably. It’s powered by a USB cable that is only about 14” long. I had to buy a longer one.

Perfect if you’re cheap. – Tldr: it’s just a fan that doesnt blow hot air on a hot night. cool air, not freezing on tap water. Put a bottle in the tank to make it last longer than 3 hours.

Meh. Sort of works. A bit of a pain. – My son’s bedroom is a converted attic, which gets pretty hot in the North Carolina summer. I thought this might be an economical way to cool down his study area. It was economical, but it doesn’t work as well as we’d hoped. To get maximum coolness, you have to freeze the filter, and the coolness really doesn’t last. Honestly, you’d probably get better results running a fan over a pie plate filled with ice cubes.

Car AC back up – So I got this product because my car AC went out in the middle of the summer. I can’t get an appointment at the dealership to fix it for 4 weeks out. I would like to say that this AC is not THAT bad it gave me a cool breeze while driving. Of course I had to buy a charger with a USB port because the one they provided plugs directly in the wall. I would also like to mention that if you plan to use this you must freeze the A/C filter Component daily and after about 2-3 hours of use the AC that blows isn’t really that cold. So my advice if you HAVE to get this product just know that’s it’s a temporary solution and will require some preparation to ensure your getting cool. However this product can not cool a room (even a small closet) really it can only cool a person lol literally one person with the vent blowing directly on that ONE person but it’s better then being hot with no relief.

Only when in desperation – My central air quit on me on one of the hottest days of 2022. I purchased Arctic Air in the hopes that it would at least cool my bedroom enough for me to sleep there. It did not. It’s easy enough to use and does blow cold air for about five minutes. After that it’s just air. I put a folded towel on my end table and put it as close to me as possible and was able to sleep due to moving air. A fan would have worked as well. Another con is the light. If you prefer sleeping in a dark room this casts enough light to be an issue.
