Decent for price – This is a decent product for the price. However, it does feel cheap and there is a lot about it I do not like compared to another or conditioner type of unit. It is important that you understand that, as with any portable AC that sits inside like this, it has lower quality and performance than a similarly priced in-window unit. If your window can fit a traditional AC unit, you should go with those. These are mainly a lifesaver for people who can not fit a normal horizontal unit in small windows on older homes. The remote feels cheap and I don’t love the lay-out – I really wish the buttons were glow in the dark. The display is like a lighthouse at night! We have to cover the one in our room with a thick compression sock because it lights up the whole room.

Great Air Conditioner – Purchased during Prime days at a fantastic price and hoped it would be everything the good reviews said it was. It is! I have a 450 sq ft studio that get direct sun for half of the day. The place ends up an oven and its completely miserable. This AC has made a huge difference in comfort level for me. Set up was super simple tho I did use duct tape to secure the window piece. My window lifts not slides open from the aide. I just cracked the window open, set the window piece against it and secured it with tape. Works perfect.

Good for small spaces! – This was perfect for my tiny apartment. I think it’s great and it moves easily. It’s a bit bulky when you have a tiny living space but it does us good. The only thing is that as soon as you turn it off, the room doesn’t stay the same temperature that the fan was set to and it will go back to what it was before. But when it’s on it really keeps the room cool. I think it’s great for small spaces. I wouldn’t recommend for anything bigger.

Overall, perty good! – In live in AZ and as you may know it gets a little toasty during the summer!!!!!!!!! Anyways I have a very wimpy A/c unit, I needed more cold and this was able to do the job. I’ll run both a/c and this unit and it cools down the room A-LOT quicker which was the goal, my apt is about 700sq ft so small but cooled my bedroom well. Super easy instal was done in mins, remote works well, easily portable, I bought the 10000 btu unit I kinda wished i bought the larger model is my only issue.

Big Little Champ – Our home AC went down in June and while we waited (and waited) for it to be repaired, got this AC to use while WA State was in a heat wave of 100+ weeks. This little thing did the job of a larger, more expensive unit. Small enough to take in our rv when we are in AZ or NV. Only issue is the window hardware. The panel where you attach the exhaust hose is too short for normal sized douvle-hung windows; but the extension piece is so long that it blocks the vent. We had to cut the extension piece to size; not a big deal especially with such an excellent working unit. I’d recommend every time.

Beat that Summer Heat! – This little air conditioner has made Summer so much better for me! My bedroom is extremely hot because it’s facing the sun all day, which generates a lot of heat! It has literally melted blinds in the window because it is so hot. I put aluminum foil on the windows to reflect the heat and that saved the blinds, but it was still so hot in my room. I suffered through many Summers, then finally, I decided to get an air conditioner, and I’m so happy I chose this one! I knew that I didn’t want a window unit. Nothing against them, just preferred an indoor one. This little baby works perfectly! Not too noisy, easy to install, and the controls are readily accessible with the remote. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to turn it off because I’m soooo ! I love it and I’m happy that I finally made this much needed purchase for this Texas Summer Heat!

My benchmark for comparison is the 5,000 BTU window unit I have in my bedroom, which is just maybe a LITTLE bit smaller than my living room/kitchen. The window unit in my bedroom makes my room ice cold.
