I didn’t read instructions – So I didn’t read the instructions. I was just in a hurry to get it in the window and turn it on. It was so hot. My other air conditioner unit had gone out this unit works very well. Even beyond my expectations and the price point was right on.

Great small unit for tight window space – I needed a very small unit to fit into a space already created for another AC that died on me … and this fit the bill. (I have huge old wood-frame windows in a brownstone, so having to create a new space with wood fill-in panels, etc., was not appealing.) Since we were just swapping in a new unit, I can’t speak too much about installation in general, but the included accordion side panels seemed like they would work well if needed. We used some white duct tape to cover the tiny openings left around edges between AC and the wood window frame.

I have two complaints. – The first being, that because it is pretty quiet, I can hear the lawn care guys in my front yard too clearly. and it sometimes gets too cold in my room. I bought this because my room is at the end of the line for the AC and my computer made the room too warm for me. Now I have a new problem in that I have to turn the knob control to a warmer setting or put on socks. I could not have asked for easier instillation, I paid someone else to install it for me.

Works for me – This unit is easy to install, not to heavy to lift into window, I modified the output a bit to help in my installation, original not the best but I think it would work, I just made it a bit more efficient. It works okay for me now

Nice unit, pretty simple to install and run. – I bought this for my daughter’s college bedroom. The window is a slider (side to side), not a double hung, so install was atypical. I ended up screwing 1/2″ angle aluminum to sides and top and coming up with a custom install that worked very well.
