The top is not hard material not sure of durability just installed. – I have a newer Lexnnox condenser unit that measures 28 3/8″ x28 3/8″ and 32″ 1/2″ high with rounded corners. It was hard to get a firm answer on whether the 28x28x32 would fit (thanks to all that responded). Here is what I found. It is a snug fit, but I got the 28 x28x32 cover on the unit. It is about 1″ short in height I think because of the snug fit and rounded corners. I like the Velcro slit opening for the power and line set. It looks like a well manufactured cover I guess I will know this winter.

Great air conditioner cover – My ac guy warned us about using a cover in the winter because most of them are plastic- like and impede air circulation. This cover is great! It has a top to protect it from the snow and rain and it has mesh sides that won’t lead to failure of the electronics inside. I really searched for this and am thrilled I found just what I was looking for!

So far so good – A little too long and wide but was the best fit for my 24×24 unit. Keeps leaves and water out. Water accumulates on the top but you could put something under to force the water to drain off. So far so good after 3 months.
