Cools our garage room perfectly – So easy to set up. We vented this through our block house to save the ugliness of venting through the only window facing the front of the house. The room is about 300sf and gets super hot to the point we couldn’t stand spending any time there. I needed to place my office with computer, printer, etc. sensitive to the heat. This has solved our problem. It’s quiet and cools the room to a comfortable temperature within 30minutes and holds the temperature after shutting down for several hours (we checked this in early evening hours).

It is heavy and needs to stay upright. – I liked that it did cool the room down. The vent hose does work with all windows. It is heavy and can be pushed on carpet carefully without falling over. Is energy efficient and the noise level is as loud as a desk fan. It has a remote which is a great help.

Works great in my small apartment! – This air conditioner was easy to set up and seems very effective at keeping my small (one bedroom, 600 sq. ft.) apartment cool. Within a short while, my miserably over-heated apartment with no air conditioning turned into a comfortable air-conditioned living space. Since I’ve only had it for about a week so far, I can’t speak to the total lifespan of the product, but I can definitely say with high confidence I have a great first impression. This product met my cooling expectations and made my living space much more enjoyable. So far so good! If this keeps working as it currently is for a long time, this was a very worthwhile purchase.

It’s an okay AC – The first week I had the AC it cooled great. It is pretty loud, but not unbearable, I mean it is an AC in your room. This AC was NOT energy efficient at all. Since I plugged it in my electric bill this summer was higher than the previous 5 summers I’ve lived in my house, and that’s with not turning down my big AC at night. I have another brand in my game room that works better and did not affect my bill. I would not but again and will give it away to someone who needs it in my community.

Shuts Down (Power On Standby) – Replaced another unit that was 8 years old. This unit has a nice feature Old one fan ran even when desired room temperature was reached. This one stops all functions in a “power on standby” then returns to normal function when temperature increases. Very nice, saving some money on electrical cost.
