bad but then great – received first ac unit and after being installed, it would not power up. I contacted amazon and they quickly put in for a pickup and for a new ac unit to be shipped to me. within three days I had the new unit. Powered it up BEFORE installing to make sure new one worked. It worked great! cools nicely and works as should. it does make a bit of noise while running so if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the unit for you, but it’s not a loud noise just a medium volume humming sound. overall, very pleased and going to order another one for one of our other rooms.

A/C was able to keep the extreme heat outside. Cooler for two rooms in home.. – Unit lighter than other AC’s. Installation in window and box, foam, plastic wrap done in an hour. Read instructions first with setup of Modes, temperature, and don’t to forget to clean filter it’s easy then reset. Remote control works good. This unit does not drip from the bottom this new that the water is sprayed out to right, facing unit from behind it is to the right. I like this A/C unit.

Not that quiet – 100 here in Portland for the next few days. Works great! Cools the rest of my 800 sq ft home. At night it’s on the lowest setting and measuring about 55 decibels.

Quiet but difficult to install – I purchased the 12,000 BTU model. I’ve had window units just about my entire life and this is the first time I had to disassemble and then reassemble an AC unit in order to install it (the instructions specifically stated the inner piece needed to be removed and the casing installed in the window- afterwards you have to push the inner piece into the casing). It took 2 hours and was a pretty frustrating process. The front panel was incredibly difficult to pop into place and after all was said and done we couldn’t even get the Wi-Fi capability up and running.

Great cooling, LG app is good, can be difficult with Alexa – This thing cools my living room and entry room like a champ. It’s a little louder than my other AC, but I’ve had much louder. The LG app works great, but I’ve had some difficulty getting a reliable connection with Alexa. Alexa can see it just fine, and even turn it off and on. When I try to change the settings, however, Alexa claims it can’t communicate with the AC. I’ve removed/added, turned the skill off/on, and changed the name. After any of these, it starts working for a day or so, and then goes back to the other behavior. This may not be everyone’s experience, but I have seen a few other posts around the web of people having this issue so it’s not an isolated issue.

So far I love this thing! – So we recently just purchased this. We just put it in yesterday and we love it! The only thing I could complain about is having to put it together and it took forever to find where to place these panel guides hooks instructions weren’t very clear on this. We ended up no using them. So installing it takes a little bit of time. But as for cooling it’s great. I downloaded the app and love that too. Being able to turn it off or on and change settings from anywhere is really beneficial to us! A feature we are loving. And I like the look of it. It’s not the quietest but not to bad at all especially for its size.
