This will not cool down a hot room that is bigger than a bathroom or closet – This item would maybe cool down a very hot tent. It does not cool down a bedroom by more than a degree or two and you need to keep filling it with ice. It would maybe cool a tiny office a little more but did not suit my purpose.

Very small and not very powerful, but seems to work… – Just unpacked it and charged it up. It takes a couple hours to charge, depending on the charging method you use (I attached the provided cord to my cellphone charger). I filled it with ice water and tried it out. I doubt it would really cool even the smallest room but, if you placed this near you, the cool mist will definitely make you feel cooler (similar to the evaporative coolers of years ago). That said, it’s more of a personal cooler than a room cooler, and probably only one person, perhaps two at the most. It’s pretty easy to move around so you can place it near you at your desk, then move it as you watch TV, even outdoors to your patio. Just be warned, you may need one for each person in your family.

Does not cool – This product’s fan works well, the lights on it are pretty. However, I purchased it because it is supposed to provide some cooling relief. I reside in Florida and we do have central A/C. However, during the summer, our central A/C cannot keep up so in the late afternoon, it gets warm in the house. I purchased this product hoping it would do as it indicated and provide some localized relief for my son when he goes to sleep at night. The air that comes out (I added lots of ice and also water as instructed) barely cooler than a regular fan.
