Needs a little more power than standard cigarette charger – Needs a little more power than standard cigarette charger. Bought this for my mother who has a temperamental car air conditioner. She found that it doesn’t work super well with the car charger but she had a portable battery back up in our car and plugged into that it works quite well

I run HOT and this is COOL! – I love this little guy! Took me a minute to figure out how to best use the filter, but it was easy to set up and is easy to maintain. The ladies in my office keep the heat setting somewhere around “death valley” temperature and I am already a furnace every day, so I set this up on my desk and it really keeps me cool!! Doesn’t take up much space and isn’t SUPER loud… all around good bang for your buck!! Just got a lifetime warranty on it for free too… highly suggest this product!

For personal use, must be close to it – Out house AC died so we were using fans n a window AC unit. Bought this to try. Follow instructions, I didn’t have a problem pulling out filter (notice how it was BEFORE you remove). Easy to wet filters, easy to fill top w/water. It comes w/USB cord (short) but not the plug part. We luckily had extra one, so to plug into wall. You can move the front vents so it hits you how u like. I had on table about 2-3 ft from where I was laying and it felt nice. Suggestions of ice cube in water part, I didn’t try but that would be probably even better. It’s easy to move room to room etc (just don’t prefill with water until u know where putting it. Cause if prefilled, it of course might “leak” out as u walk around w/it). Um I think $20/$25 is the ideal price pt for it. But I’m gonna keep cause it was overall helpful. If u r more then 4ft from it u probably won’t feel it.
