– This air conditioner works well in apartments. I have a 3 bedroom and I can feel the effect in each room. That being said, the further you get from it, the less effective it is. It will not cool down your whole apartment like a central AC, but it really does do the job if you don’t mind moving it to suit the room you need coolest in very hot weather. I kept it in the living room during the day, and bedroom during the night when the weather was 30/40°. In 20°-25° weather I just left it in the bedroom because it was sufficiently cooling down the apartment.

– Very easy to install. Even when my window is a little smaller than the provided window kit, all I needed to do is to saw off to the correct length. I also glued some weather sealing strips to the sides to make the fit in the window more snug. I installed everything all by myself and I’m a woman. I’m so relieved because I had to ask my father to help me install heavy AC window units before. But now, I don’t have to bother him anymore.

Once I finally got a working unit, it was wonderful! – So, I originally ordered 2 of these. When they arrived, one worked great, but the other one was leaking all of its coolant fluid out of it. The box was all torn up and there was a spot where the outer plastic cover of the unit was crushed or punctured. The replacement came and was also leaking all of its coolant out… actually it was in worse condition. Finally, the replacement for the replacement came and it was in perfect condition; no leaks, no scratches, no issues. Finally! The pictures are of the first one that arrived leaking coolant.

Mixed reviews this far. – I bought this AC/Unit / Heater in February 2022 for my man cave area of the home. At first everything worked great. Heat was warm and A/C was ice cold with absolutely zero issues. To be honest this is a very simple device that is easy to setup and use. Instructions are simple. I was to preface this also stating this unit was NOT heavily used.
